Az-Zumar 39:47
Verse 47 of 75
وَلَوْ اَنَّ لِلَّذِیْنَ ظَلَمُوْا مَا فِی الْاَرْضِ جَمِیْعًا وَّمِثْلَهٗ مَعَهٗ لَافْتَدَوْا بِهٖ مِنْ سُوْٓءِ الْعَذَابِ یَوْمَ الْقِیٰمَةِ ؕ وَبَدَا لَهُمْ مِّنَ اللّٰهِ مَا لَمْ یَكُوْنُوْا یَحْتَسِبُوْنَ ۟
ترجمہ
اگر اِن ظالموں کے پاس زمین کی ساری دولت بھی ہو، اور اتنی ہی اور بھی، تو یہ روز قیامت کے برے عذاب سے بچنے کے لیے سب کچھ فدیے میں دینے کے لیے تیار ہو جائیں گے وہاں اللہ کی طرف سے ان کے سامنے وہ کچھ آئے گا جس کا انہوں نے کبھی اندازہ ہی نہیں کیا ہے
English translation
If the wrong-doers possessed the treasures of the earth in their entirety and as much besides, they would gladly offer it on the Day of Resurrection to redeem themselves from the harrowing chastisement. This because there will appear to them from Allah something (exceedingly dismal which) they had never even imagined.
