Hud 11:8
Verse 8 of 123
وَلَىِٕنْ اَخَّرْنَا عَنْهُمُ الْعَذَابَ اِلٰۤی اُمَّةٍ مَّعْدُوْدَةٍ لَّیَقُوْلُنَّ مَا یَحْبِسُهٗ ؕ اَلَا یَوْمَ یَاْتِیْهِمْ لَیْسَ مَصْرُوْفًا عَنْهُمْ وَحَاقَ بِهِمْ مَّا كَانُوْا بِهٖ یَسْتَهْزِءُوْنَ ۟۠
ترجمہ
اور اگر ہم ایک خاص مدت تک ان کی سزا کو ٹالتے ہیں تو وہ کہنے لگتے ہیں کہ آخر کس چیز نے اُسے روک رکھا ہے؟ سنو! جس روز اُس سزا کا وقت آگیا تو وہ کسی کے پھیرے نہ پھر سکے گا اور وہی چیز ان کو آ گھیرے گی جس کا وہ مذاق اڑا رہے ہیں
English translation
And were We to put off the chastisement from them for a determined period, they will cry out: 'What withholds Him from chastising?' Surely when the day of the chastisement will come, nothing will avert it and the chastisement which they had ridiculed shall encompass them.
